The Importance of the Contemporary Issues Class

 The importance of learning about those topics is so we know what is going on in our world. Ways i have been impacted by this class is I’m more smarter about topics and i can actually talk about them. Well the thing that ive learned that has stuck the most with me is really the whole class everything we learned in here. I can see myself have interst in these topics we have learned and i will try to learn more about these topics in different classes or on my own. And i do see myself trying to support one of the things that we learned in class.

War in Iraq is never going to be over….

The war in Iraq is still going and strong. The terroist in iraq are trying to spill more blood then before. They have been caught trying to sneek bombs in airports and smugling drugs over to the U.S. We are trying to contain all the terroist from coming over and putting our civilains in danger.

The U.S army has put more of there troops in airports and have sent more troops to Iraq. Even though we send more troops the terroist still keep on attacking and its getting out of hand.

The U.S is just thinking of bombing Iraq and getting the war over with because more people are going to die over years and just dropping a bomb on Iraq. If we do that then maybe they will stop trying to kill our courntry.

Legalization of Marijuana finally here

On this day the Drug policies will change and Legalize the use of Marijuana for recreational and medical purposes. Its been 40 years since the first try to legalize marijuana use in just California. Some states have tried but have failed in the attempt to legalize it. But now 40 years later it has been legalized all over the U.S.

 By legalizing marijuana it will help us with our money problems and help us when we need the money. Marijuana will help us with over a billion dollars which could go to supporting the war and helping all the poor in our country by giving all them food and shelter. 

All other drugs are still illegal and not allowed in the U.S. And if caught you will have the same consequences as before.

Blasts in Baghdad kill at least 64

1.) Several Explosions kill 64 people and injured 360 more people. The bombing where in several places around baghdad. There were 14 car bombs, two roadside bombs and one sticky bomb and all of them in 17 different neighborhoods. U.S forces say these kinds of things are typical in baghdad.

2.) I think that the only reason all of these people are dieing and getting injured is because the U.S is still in afghanistan and the people dont want them there so if they just get out they will stop all of the killings and everything.

Bad video games

 1.) This article is about video games that are to bad for young kids even teenagers. Because in this game they are killing and making the country seem really bad. These action are making the kids do the things they see in the game real. California is trying to make video games like this illegal in there state.

2.)I think it doesn’t really matter if gets play these games its up to the parents to allow them to play them. They don’t have to make it illegal to play a video is not like its a drug or murdering someone its just in a game. If people don’t want there kids not to play them then they have to monitor there kids and see what there playing at home.

Nissan Recall!!!

1.) Nissan is recalling 750,000 becuse there is a problem with the engine in stalling. The Japanese automaker plans to replace an electrical relay for the engine control module in the vehicles. No accidents or injuries have been reported resulting from the problem, according to Nissan.

2.)I think that there should never be a problem like this ever. Because if someone did get hurt because of all this then the company could of got sued. And also they should check all the cars twice or more so a problem like this wont happen.

Valcano!!!

1.)The volcano in central Java shot huge clouds of gas and ash into the air on Thursday afternoon, two days after its initial eruption. At least 32 people were killed in the first eruption. Tens of thousands of people remain in temporary shelters, and officials have urged them not to go home.It was not immediately clear whether the latest eruption had caused any more casualties.Officials issued the highest alert for the volcano on Monday and told residents to evacuate, but some stayed behind to look after crops and livestock. A government vulcanologist said that the high alert level would remain.

2.) To get this all cleaned up they have a lot of work to do because when if a valcano goes bad then they ground is all bad and cant really grow until they make the ground more better . Also they have to build new houses and new farms and also all the other things that they need to make there city or country more better to live in.

“Rethink Afghanistan”

 The idea of the Documentary was to see if the United States should get out of Afghanistan and see if we are actually doing good or bad in Afghanistan. Yes he did provide evidence to show his thesis. He should all the bad things and good things happening in Afghanistan.My opinion of this documentary was good, because people should know what it fells like when you are living there and a war is going on.I think war profiteering is good but not when you take all the money from one side and not give anybody else any money or take from anybody else.yes it did, it makes me think that were kind of the bad ones right now and that we should get out of afghanistan.

My Solution for Afghanistan

 We are in Afghanistan because the Taliban attacked us on 9/11 and it became a war on terror. I think this war should end right now because to many people are dieing and a lot of money is being wasted on the war in Afghanistan. The government should listen to the public because we are the ones that live here and were the ones that want good for our country. The way we will know if we have won or lost the war is if we find and destroy the Taliban or if we make a treaty with the Taliban. My solution to the war is to just find and kill all the Taliban and get out as soon as possible so no more of our troops will die in this war.

Mothers for marijuana: 'Please vote yes, yes on 19 for the kids'

1.) These mothers think that if the Untied States Legelizes Marijuana that it will help the drug wars and will help communitys and less people would die. They say that they would rather want marijuana to be legel around there kids and be controled by our government then it be not legel and people making there own kind and putting things in the pot that we dont even know. One the mom said in the video that if you dont like your kids being around marijuana then move to another universe because marijuana is always going to be around your kids no matter what you do.

2.) What i think is that there supporting a good cause and marijuana should be legel only to 21 and older and should be controled by the government and nobody else so we know what they put in the pot. And i think less people would die in the U.S if Marijuana became legel because then nobody would have to hide it or anything they can just go to the store and buy some and are safe when they do that.
